
She is an award-winning international speaker and expert, having presented during various forums and conferences in New York, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Duhok (Iraq), Colombo and Maldives on peacebuilding, social enterprise development and gap analysis of trade promotion policies, including environment related national and international policies. She is a published researcher and opinion writer with several articles published in The News, Dawn and Express Tribune. Presently she is working on two book projects on women empowerment and social enterprise development in Pakistan.

Zahra Wyne is part of the management of IWID and is also a founding member of the SEPLAA Foundation. She graduated from Government College of Home Economics, Lahore and gained her professional degree in software engineering at APTECH Institute, Lahore. She has attended courses at LUMS, ICx Seplaa for social enterprise development including sustainable development of enterprises and also participated in an Executive Leadership Development Course at the National School of Public Policy. In 2015 she was selected for the Australia Awards for a short course in ‘Incubation Management’.
Zahra has over sixteen years of experience in education, management, IT and community development. She has been the Project Manager for the Umeed Jawan(USAID) funded project ‘Promoting social entrepreneurship for peacebuilding through IT & Youth Mobilization in South Punjab.’
Zahra is a resilient and determined individual who is passionate about community development and women empowerment.
