iCx SEPLAA at IUB, Bahawalpur Incubation Cycle 1 took place from the 5th of May, 2014 (Monday) till the 9th of May, 2014 (Friday) at IUB, Bahawalpur.

Activities during the week included basic introductory sessions on Social Entrepreneurship Project Development, IT & Social Media Leverage for Impact including a video on the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, Legal Framework Requirements for Social Enterprises, Financial Requirements for Social Change, Peacebuilding & Conflict Management through Empowerment for Global Change and Leadership & Marketing Skills for Social Enterprises. The sessions were facilitated and conducted by the iCx SEPLAA Team at IUB, Bahawalpur.

10277907_10203766436505423_9143241120928847622_nInteractive Skype sessions with Mrs. Ammara Farooq Malik (Founder & CEO of SEPLAA Foundation & iCx) who is representing Pakistan at the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the US currently and the SEPLAA Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Team Lahore were also held during the week.

The students exchanged interesting ideas during the cycle and learned about fresh, new and innovative perspectives on Social Entrepreneurship. They tried to connect the implementation and application of the key concepts to real life situations around them and realized the significance of Social Entrepreneurship nowadays that can lead to making enormous differences for a more positive environment.
