PU Seminars on Social Enterprises for Peace in Pakistan and Sri Lanka

The Centre of South Asian Studies, University of the Punjab organized two seminars in November with the SEPLAA Foundation, on the comparative study and effect of social enterprises on peacebuilding in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The key note speaker was Ms. Ammara Farooq Malik, Founder & CEO of the SEPLAA Foundation and the seminar attendees comprised of undergraduate and post graduate students of the Centre of South Asian Studies and the Department of Political Science.

Department Head, Professor Dr. Umbreen Javaid played an active role in engaging the SEPLAA (Seeds of Education, Policy & Legal Awareness Association) Foundation in the discussion on the role of South Asian states towards the creation of regional peace and stability.

Ms. Mariam Kamal of the Center of South Asian Studies facilitated the seminars by coordinating with the students and faculty members.
