SENAP Launched

Male, Maldives- In January 2017, 5 professionals from Pakistan and Afghanistan met at the International Afghanistan Pakistan Partnership Summit in Male, Maldives under the Hollings Centre of International Dialogue, to find ways to form partnerships for the greater good of both countries through the promotion of social enterprises. It was decided that a regional network of social enterprises called ‘SENAP’ (Social Entrepreneurs’ Network of Afghanistan & Pakistan) would be created to foster greater cross learning to develop social enterprises.

SENAP Founding Members are Ammara Farooq Malik (Pakistan), Ajmal Paiman (Afghanistan), Kamila Siddiqui (Afghanistan), Zahra Jafari (Afghanistan), Malalai Yousuf (Afghanistan.)

More meetings are planned in the coming months.
