
The SEPLAA Foundation CEO Ammara Farooq Malik has been nominated for The News Women Power 50 on the basis of her immaculate achievements in 2014 in empowering 1400 and above youth in South Punjab for social entrepreneurship and peacebuilding through SEPLAA (Seeds of Education, Policy & Legal Awareness Assocaition) Foundation and the Social Entrepreneurship Incubator: the Impact Change Xcelerator (iCx) SEPLAA Foundation, as the Founder and CEO.
In 2014 alone, the SEPLAA Foundation reached across to over 1,400 youth in South Punjab to give them social entrepreneurship orientation to build peace in Bahawalpur, 480 youth were trained in social entrepreneurship, another 480 underprivileged youth were also given orientations on the benefits of social enterprises, 16 new social enterprises were created in 9 months, over 11,000 indirect beneficiaries were created, 16 projects were showcased at SEPLAA’s annual conference, 16 new websites were launched and a total of over 13,700 beneficiaries were reached across to in order to build peace through social entrepreneurship.
