The monthly SEW-EGAP Lahore Chapter meeting was held on Saturday, 18th April, 2015 at the JUS & REM upper mall road office in Lahore. A total of 8 members attended the meeting, namely Ms. Ammara Farooq, Ms. Zahra Wyne, Ms. Saima Asghar Riaz, Ms. Shaista Hassan, Ms. Zarin Shoaib, Ms. Zainab Iqtidar, Ms. Amna Zafar and Ms. Sadia Hammad along with SEPLAA Foundation team. Agenda of the meeting was to discuss the role of SEW-EGAP in women empowerment and development. Many creative ideas were floated on the table and the date of the first SEW-EGAP event was decided to be 30th May, 2015. A total of four events per annum is now on the schedule for SEW-EGAP accepted by all members of the council. At the end of the meeting Ms. Ammara Farooq summarized the meeting and laid down points in a recap for further proceedings for the council.
